Coming up soon on August 19th-20th: the annual Amigos’ Summer SoCal World Guitar Show, at Orange County Fairgrounds, Costa Mesa.  This is a great regional show, where vendors from up and down the West Coast (and beyond) will be displaying an amazing number of new, used, and rare guitars, basses, and other instruments.  Many visitors to the show are repeat attendees from years past, but if you’ve never attended make plans to come down.  El Dorado will be there, offering our full lineup of fine handcrafted guitar straps, including a special “limited run” Durango model strap in wrinkle-tan, which will only be available at the show.

The following weekend, August 25-27, up the Coast in beautiful Santa Barbara, we will be exhibiting at the 2nd annual Santa Barbara Acoustic Instrument Celebration.  This event has picked up and continued the tradition from the late, great Healdsburg Guitar Festival from years back, showcasing handcrafted acoustic guitars from some of the most talented luthiers in the world!  Also at the celebration are acoustic guitar seminars, performances, and workshops.  If you’ve ever been to any of the Healdsburg shows you know what to expect; if you never have then you don’t want to miss this!
